An Open Letter to All People (Daniel 4:1-3)

Pastor David Zooeff, July 16, 2017
Part of the Daniel: God's Sovereign Rule Over All series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

In this message we examine the preface of Nebuchadnezzar's open letter to all of the subjects of his kingdom. In it he praises the Most High God of Israel for His dealings with Him. We examine these verses through the lens of Nebuchadnezzar's conversion experience, and show how his salvation was the reason for his radical change of world-view and exuberant praise.

Daniel 4:1-3

1Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. 2I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me. 3How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.
